Arclux-Slim creates a cove light without false ceiling using a slim surface-mounted aluminium profile. It installs near the ceiling-wall junction without an L-box or dropped ceiling. This preserves ceiling height in Singapore homes and commercial interiors.

Choose an Upward or Downward Glow

The installer can position the profile to direct light upward or downward. Upward lighting brightens the ceiling and creates a softer ambient effect. Downward lighting washes the upper wall and adds stronger visual definition.

Smooth Indirect Lighting

The aluminium profile for this cove light without false ceiling supports 8mm to 10mm LED strips. COB LED strips are recommended for a smoother, dot-free glow. Single-tone, tri-tone, or smart strips can be selected separately.

Clean and Paintable Finish

Its powder-coated aluminium surface comes in matte white. The profile can be painted to blend with the wall colour. A concealed cavity helps house a compatible LED driver for a neater installation.

This no-false-ceiling lighting profile suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, offices, retail shops, and hotel corridors. One-metre and two-metre lengths support different layout. Inner and outer corner connectors help create cleaner perimeter runs.

• For ceilings below 3 metres, a common guide is 40cm to 50cm below the ceiling when the profile is installed to shine upward. This gives the light enough space to reflect softly across the ceiling and create a gentle ambient glow.
• For downward lighting, the profile can also be installed below the ceiling if that suits the design.

How do I decide whether to install Arclux-Slim to shine upward or downward?

• Choose upward lighting if you want a softer ceiling glow. In this case, the profile should be installed below the ceiling.
• Choose downward lighting if you want the light to wash the wall or create a sharper architectural effect. For this setup, the profile can be installed against the ceiling or below the ceiling, depending on the space and nearby obstructions.
