For most Singapore BTO kitchens, the number depends on kitchen length, cabinet colour and brightness preference. As a general guide,

• 3m to 3.3m kitchen can use a 1.5m track with 2 Linear Track Lights.
• 3.3m to 4m kitchen can use a 2m track with 3 Linear Track Lights.

You can add more track lights if you prefer stronger brightness, have darker cabinets, or need better lighting over the cooking and preparation area. For long kitchens or L-shaped layouts, track placement should be planned according to the ceiling point and cabinet layout.
