The Arclux-Natt slim LED strip aluminium profile provides a neat housing for 8–12mm LED strip lights. Its aluminium body helps dissipate heat, while the PC diffuser softens the light for a cleaner, more even appearance.
Flexible Surface-Mounted or Recessed Installation
The non-flanged design allows both surface-mounted and recessed installation. When recessed into carpentry, there are no visible flanges sitting over the surrounding surface, giving a cleaner, more seamless finish. Because there is no flange to conceal the cut edge, the groove should be cut accurately and cleanly, especially on laminate or wood veneer.
Easy Retrofit for Existing Carpentry
If LED strip lighting was not planned during renovation, the Arclux-Natt can be surface-mounted onto existing cabinets, wardrobes or shelves without cutting a recessed groove. At only 7mm high, its slim non-flanged design stays relatively discreet at eye level, especially under wall cabinets, shelves or behind pelmet edges.
It can be fixed using suitable mounting clips or high-strength double-sided mounting tape, depending on the surface and installation method. While recessed installation gives the most seamless finish, surface mounting provides a practical way to add clean linear lighting to existing carpentry with much less modification.

A non-flanged aluminium profile creates a cleaner, more seamless recessed finish because there are no visible lips covering the groove edges. It can also be surface-mounted for added installation flexibility. A flanged profile has visible lips that sit over the surrounding surface and help conceal the cut edges. For the Arclux-Natt, the recessed groove should therefore be cut accurately and cleanly, especially on laminate or wood veneer carpentry.
Can I use SMD or COB LED strip with this slim aluminium profile?
COB LED strip is recommended for the Arclux-Natt slim aluminium profile. Because the profile is only 7mm high, individual LED dots from an SMD strip will remain visible through the diffuser. COB LED strip produces a more continuous line of light, giving a smoother and cleaner lighting effect with this shallow profile.
